Doug was fantastic to work with. Where other photographers said no (i.e. our need to have family and group photos taken in only 30 minutes), he said yes. He was very up-front about everything and didn't impose his own ideas upon us--he took in what we had to say and told us what he could offer based on that. As an artist myself, I was very impressed by his willingness to work with others while keeping his artistic integrity.

He was very flexible and understanding when we had a problem with some payments due to our bank. He was always willing to meet with us and answered emails very quickly. His photography style is alot of fun, and he manages to get great shots without interrupting the goings-on of the ceremony and reception.

He was the 4th photographer we booked. The first two never returned calls or emails after our initial meeting (one stole our deposit and left the state!), and the 3rd had a legitimate conflict. Doug was a breeze, and definitely proof that 4th time's the real charm. I can't recommend him enough!

Doug was fantastic to work with. Not only was he affordable, but his quality of work was exceptional.  This was a big plus for us!  Unlike other photographers, Doug didn’t pressure me to upgrade to another package.  He was very honest and up-front.  He listened and was very good about getting back to me and answering all my questions.  Before the wedding, Doug took our engagement pictures so we could get comfortable with him as our photographer.  After the session, we were able to go through the pictures right away and tell him what we liked and didn’t like.

Doug was an absolute professional for my son’s senior picture photo shoot. 

My son is a typical boy who didn’t want to worry about what he was wearing or where the photos were taken.  His only request was that Doug include some of his football teammates for a group shot.  Doug willing did so for a minimal additional fee.  

He ended up spending nearly an hour capturing their interplay in candid shots that we’ll always treasure and ended up purchasing for his friends.  The other parents were so impressed with the quality of those photos as well as my son’s that I’m certain he’ll be scheduling additional sittings in our area before the school year is complete.  We were also impressed that the package we purchased included a collage for each of the kids that they could post on their Facebook and MySpace pages on the Internet! 

Doug’s demeanor made the experience so comfortable for us.  He provided guidance and instruction for my camera-shy son but also let him be himself so that the photos truly reflected his personality.  His recommendation for a location for the shoot was amazing in that it provided several different backdrops without going to additional locations.  I found it to be a plus that he provided us with a link to view the photos on-line.  It was so easy for family and friends to take a look, make their selections and either order themselves or tell us what they wanted!  We have extended family out of town so this was especially convenient.  We were so impressed with the number of “really good” shots that he captured of our son but that was nothing compared to when the actual photos were delivered!   Choosing Doug as your photographer is the easy decision.  The hardest is yet to come … choosing which ones to purchase!
